First let me start off by saying getting a hair transplant is not something anyone should be ashamed of male or female. This like any cosmetic surgery is to help with your self esteem and at the end of the day that's all that matters not someone else's opinion. When you do decide to go on that adventure, please do your research and consider Dr. Bret Bolton at Great Hair Transplants.
I did a lot of research and even after selecting Dr. Bolton I was still nervous and skeptical. However, he is the best hands down. He explained the process and tells you the good and the bad, when I say the bad I mean what realistically you would expect. That said, he listened to my personal opinion and completely supported my decision of what I wanted to get. That was unbelievable and from that moment on he had my full trust. He wasn't trying to sell me anything or make it so I had to get another surgery. He was honest and understanding and I highly respected that.
As to the actual surgery, I wont sugar coat it, the initial anesthesizing injections were the worst part. It does hurt a little, but nothing unbearable, but I can't express how awesome and professional him amd his team are. He would consistently ask if I needed a break or how I was doing and would stop if I asked at any point. Never once did he just keep going or told me that he "has" to keep going which shows his patience, respect and care for his patients need. His team was also very accomodating and quick to assist if I had any discomfort. Once the anesthesia was done he started the process and at any time I felt even a tiny pinch he made a point to anesthesize again so I didn't feel any pain. Shortly after I fell asleep and woke up to the entire procedure completely done.
He did everything I asked for and more. He always tries to go above and beyond if he is able to and he certainly showed it with me. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I haven't seen my results as I just finished the surgery, but I had to share my experience. I am not getting any incentive or discount for doing this review, this was earned by him and his staff. It was still expensive as it is for any cosmetic surgery, but I don't regret Dr. Bolton as my surgeon. Please, please, please do your reasearch, look him up online he has plenty of videos and if you choose to do FUT, do it with Dr. Bolton you will not regret it.
