It's difficult to pick and choose the positives when thinking about Dr. Bolton and his staff because there are so many that come to mind. I'll start with the fact that I decided to go with Dr. Bolton because he and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable about the entire process. I sourced out other facilities but ultimately it came down to the fact that Dr. Bolton had a family type feel and absolutely zero pressure when it came to anything! The procedure itself can seem very intimidating but trust me when I say that it was basically painless. There was more discomfort in taking out the stitches 2 weeks after the surgery than during the entire 3-5 hour transplant! Dr. Bolton and his team were just as accommodating post surgery as they were for everything else. It's easy to have nerves and questions built up when you are sitting at home healing but Dr. Bolton was available any time and frequently checked in to make sure I was ok, I never felt like there was a stupid question. I personally think 5 stars is too few to give a superstar like Dr. Bolton but I do hope my recommendation can help someone who is considering the procedure so they can make the best decision possible. I have had 2 procedures with him, and the results have been phenomenal. Upon arrival, I was given a warm welcome by Dr. Bolton and his staff. Everyone is very friendly and ready to assist you in anything you need. Dr. Bolton explained the procedure in detail, leaving no room for doubt. He is very professional and at the same time very kind and understanding. You feel like you are talking to a long-time friend. During both of my surgeries I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. I actually watched movies and even took a nap while the procedure was taking place. After the surgery I stayed at Josh’s guest house for a couple of days. Josh was very attentive, and he would check on me constantly. He can also cook a mean steak :) After I got home, I couldn’t believe how simple and easy the entire thing had been. My recovery was quick, and I didn’t experience any complications. My family and friends tell me that I look like a teenager again, and my students even mention that I look too young to be a college professor :) This is all thanks to Dr. Bolton. My suggestion is that you don’t waste your time, money, and most importantly your donor area by going with other doctors who will deplete it and provide you with pitiful results.
