Dr Bolton mentioned that most hair transplant doctors have no clue how to perform a hair transplant on a black man's hair. That was likely the problem he said. Let me explain why. I have done a lot of research for months on in and just by watching a bunch of his videos I decided to bite the bullet and give the guy a shot. I was really hesitant at first but after talking to Josh Engron he just makes you feel at ease and is very transparent and forthcoming about the entire procedure. I asked so many questions and he answered all of them. I even compared their cost to the one in Dallas and for the $$ I payed Dr. Bolton gave more 2000-3000 more grafts than what was originally talked about. I thought that was awesome for someone to do that. Dr. Bolton obviously was not only in it for the $$. He obviously cared about his patients. From the day of the procedure he was very attentive, listened and heard me out, while giving his own honest opinion on what he thought would best work out for me in my situation and in the end gave me even more hair. He was very transparent as well. He just really cared about his patients. The whole process took roughly 4 hrs. The only painful part in my opinion was the injections to numb my head to remove the donor hair and reinsert hair. But the entire process was went by quickly and smoothly. Dr. Bolton and Josh has been in contact with me from day 1 after the procedure and so forth and has been very helpful. This is the type of team Dr. Bolton provides. He and Josh in particular are very caring people who make sure to look after their patients. Thank you both for giving me more hair and getting my confidence back. Our journey started with my son leaving for college for the first time. He began complaining that he was losing his hair. After having him checked out by his doctor, they determined that he suffered from male pattern baldness. As a 19 year old, this was devastating. My once confident and happy son became so down.He didn't want to go anywhere or see his friends. The only way he left the house was with a hat on. As a parent, I went into fix it mode. I really researched what the best method would be, strip or FUE. We did the strip and are so happy with our choice! Dr. Bolton gave us our son back. It's been 2 years since the transplant and my son has a full head of hair.
